Toronto Underground Market

The Toronto Underground Market (TUM) is Canada’s first and only social food market designed to give budding food entrepreneurs, chefs and home cooks a platform to test new food ideas to an eager market.

The vendors are not all chefs and this is not a farmers market. There is a wealth of delicious professional quality food being made in Toronto and the TUM provides an opportunity for it be shared....finally!

To all ticket holders: The event tomorrow will be at the Evergreen Brick Works & will run from 5 to 11 pm. We encourage you to take the FREE shuttle bus that will run to & from Broadview Station all evening but there are also 3 parking lots. We are thrilled to announce that we’ll be back in the Holcim Gallery for the first TUM of 2012. Please come dressed warmly & don’t forget your toques, scarves & gloves.  REMINDERS: Doors open at 5pm this month. 2012 TUM Dates

The moment you have all been waiting for has arrived…..we have finally updated our website.

I am very excited to announce that TUM is a 2 woman operation.

Earlier this month, I inherited a business partner. Kate Clegg is an old friend of mine & she brings years of event experience to TUM. Working with Kate is phenomenal because prior to TUM I had never produced an event in my life, lol. My skills lie in marketing & creative ideas.

This partnership is ideal because we have completely different strengths. Sharing the load will allow TUM to grow & evolve. This year we have LOTS of events planned so stay tuned for more exciting TUM announcements.

The Street Food Block Party will be a celebration of street food on Saturday May 5, 2012 at the Evergreen Brick Works. The vendor list will be announced soon & tickets will go on sale in April. I am so excited to share the news of this event with Toronto. It’s been hard to keep this a secret!! Spread the word & hope to see you at the upcoming TUM next month.

TUM 2012 UPDATE

To all TUM fans,

I am so embarrassed that it has taken me this long to update all of you on 2012 plans. The truth is, I don’t have it all figured out yet. December was a very difficult month for me in my personal life & it set me back A LOT!

What I can say with certainty is that there will NOT be a TUM in February. I am currently working on the possibility of March & as soon as I have dates confirmed, I will post them.

TUM is going to be get bigger & better this year so stay tuned….
