Toronto Underground Market

The Toronto Underground Market (TUM) is Canada’s first and only social food market designed to give budding food entrepreneurs, chefs and home cooks a platform to test new food ideas to an eager market.

The vendors are not all chefs and this is not a farmers market. There is a wealth of delicious professional quality food being made in Toronto and the TUM provides an opportunity for it be shared....finally!

The last TUM of the year!

I am so excited for the next TUM! It is going to be the best one yet. Although this is sadly our last event of 2011, have no fear the TUM will be back. Our first event in 2012 will be in February.

The upcoming event is on Saturday, November 19th & will run from 6 to 11 pm at the Evergreen Brick Works. I encourage you to take the FREE shuttle bus that will run to & from Broadview Station all evening.

Please come dressed warmly & don’t forget your toques, scarves & gloves. We will be helping you stay warm with hot drinks (some alcoholic & some not) & delicious soups.

The November TUM on the 19th is at the Evergreen Brick Works. The upcoming event will NOT be at 99 Sudbury.
As difficult a decision as it is to change venues, it is a priority to keep the Toronto Underground Market in a nurturing environment with similar principles.
I sincerely apologize for the confusion around the venue this month. Having said that, I am thrilled to be back at the Evergreen Brick Works & promise this event will be the best one yet!
We will have heaters & do our best to insulate the event space but dress warmly! For newcomers, it is an indoor/outdoor space so wear gloves, a hat, etc. There will be hot soups & beverages to help too.
See you next weekend!

November Tickets

November TUM tickets are sold out. Wow, thank you Toronto! I am planning to sell tickets at the door at 8:30pm again for those who missed out.

Although change is difficult, the decisions made for this month were essential. Price of tickets will be $10 moving forward to keep the TUM self-sustainable. The choice for a new indoor venue was made due to the cold weather.

Thanks to all TUM supporters!!

I need to express some sadness. I have been using Apple products for decades & my first computer was a Mac. A tiny screen & a green cursor is all I can think about.
Nowadays I live on my Macbook Air laptop. As an entrepreneur, my iPhone is my most powerful weapon. It allows me to do everything, all the time & not miss any opportunities for connecting, networking & growth.
I feel sad but I also find it absurd. This man created & designed so many important products that have made me feel connected to him even though I never met him.
The TUM, my small business, would not have evolved quite as remarkably without the amazing Apple tools I own & use every day.
I extend my dearest sympathies to his friends & family.
The world has lost a true innovator.
RIP Steve Jobs
